Mundaka Upanishad 2.1.1 meaning

yatha sudeeptat pavakad visphulingah sahasrashah prabhavante saroopah tathaksharad vividhah somya bhavah prajayante tatra chaiv-apiyanti

Just as thousands of sparks of the same nature fly out from a blazing fire, so, my dear, countless kinds of beings come forth from the Imperishable and return into it again.

What it means
Every person is a spark of the same fire. We look different, but our nature is shared. Remembering this makes it easier to see others as family rather than as strangers or rivals.

Spoken by Angiras.
