Mandukya Upanishad 2 meaning
sarvam hy-etad brahm-ayam atma brahma
soyam atma chatushpat
सर्वं ह्येतद्ब्रह्मायमात्मा ब्रह्म।
सोऽयमात्मा चतुष्पात्॥
All this is Brahman, the ultimate reality. This Self is Brahman. This Self has four aspects.
What it means
'This Self is Brahman' is one of the great sayings of the Upanishads. The reality behind the universe and the awareness inside you are not two. The next verses map four states of that awareness.हिंदी में अर्थ
यह सब कुछ ब्रह्म है। यह आत्मा भी ब्रह्म है। इस आत्मा के चार पाद, यानी चार पहलू हैं।
'यह आत्मा ब्रह्म है' उपनिषदों के महावाक्यों में से एक है। संसार के पीछे का सत्य और तुम्हारे भीतर की चेतना दो नहीं। आगे इसकी चार अवस्थाएँ बताई गई हैं।
