Mandukya Upanishad 10 meaning

svapnasthanas taijasa ukaro dviteeya matr-otkarshad ubhayatvad va utkarshati ha vai jnanasantatim samanash cha bhavati n-asy-abrahmavit kule bhavati ya evam veda

स्वप्नस्थानस्तैजस उकारो द्वितीया मात्रोत्कर्षादुभयत्वाद्वा। उत्कर्षति ह वै ज्ञानसन्ततिं समानश्च भवति नास्याब्रह्मवित्कुले भवति य एवं वेद॥

Taijasa, the dream state, is 'U', the second letter, because it is higher and because it stands between the two. One who knows this grows in wisdom, is treated as an equal by all, and no one in their family lives without knowing Brahman.

The inner world of thought and imagination bridges outer action and deep rest. Tending that inner life, through reflection and good ideas, enriches not just you but the people around you.

हिंदी में अर्थ

तैजस, यानी स्वप्न अवस्था, 'उ' है, दूसरी मात्रा, क्योंकि यह ऊँची है और दोनों के बीच में है। जो इसे जानता है, उसका ज्ञान बढ़ता है, सब उसे बराबर मानते हैं, और उसके कुल में कोई ब्रह्म-ज्ञान से वंचित नहीं रहता।

विचार और कल्पना का भीतरी संसार बाहरी कर्म और गहरी शांति के बीच पुल है। इस भीतरी जीवन को सँवारना तुम्हें ही नहीं, आसपास के लोगों को भी समृद्ध करता है।
