Mahabharata 5.34.29 meaning
dharmena rajyam vindeta dharmena paripalayet
dharmamoolam shriyam prapya na jahati na heeyate
धर्मेण राज्यं विन्देत धर्मेण परिपालयेत्।
धर्ममूलां श्रियं प्राप्य न जहाति न हीयते॥
Gain your position through what is right, and keep it through what is right. Prosperity rooted in righteousness, once gained, neither leaves you nor slips away.

धर्म से राज्य पाना चाहिए और धर्म से ही उसकी रक्षा करनी चाहिए। धर्म पर टिकी समृद्धि एक बार मिल जाए तो न छूटती है, न घटती है।
