Yaksha: What is ego, what is hypocrisy, what is called fate, and what is backbiting? Yudhishthira: Ego is deep ignorance, hypocrisy is waving your goodness like a flag, fate is the fruit of what you have given, and backbiting is finding fault with others.

What it means
Goodness performed for an audience is hypocrisy. Ego is not strength but blindness. And luck is not random: what comes back to you is largely what you gave out. Spend less time tearing others down.

Spoken by Yaksha, Yudhishthira.
