Yaksha: What is the highest duty in the world, what duty always bears fruit, what must be controlled to stop grieving, and with whom does a bond never wear out? Yudhishthira: Kindness is the highest duty, the Vedic path always bears fruit, controlling the mind ends grief, and friendship with good people never wears out.

What it means
Of everything religion can mean, Yudhishthira picks plain kindness as the highest. Pair that with a mind you can steer and friends of good character, and most of life's sorrows lose their grip.

Spoken by Yaksha, Yudhishthira.
