Mahabharata 13.6.10 meaning
shubhena karmana saukhyam duhkham papena karmana
kritam sarvatra labhate nakritam bhujyate kvachit
Good deeds bring happiness and wrong deeds bring sorrow. Everywhere, one receives what one has done; no one ever enjoys what they have not done.
What it means
Results are tied to actions. There is no free harvest, good or bad. That is both a warning and a comfort: your choices genuinely matter, and you hold real power over where your life goes.
Spoken by Brahma.
