Mahabharata 13.58.8 meaning
priyani labhate loke priyadah priyakrit tatha
priyo bhavati bhootanam iha chaiva paratra cha
प्रियाणि लभते लोके प्रियदः प्रियकृत्तथा।
प्रियो भवति भूतानामिह चैव परत्र च॥
One who gives what is dear to others and does what pleases them receives dear things in this world, and becomes dear to all beings, here and hereafter.
