amitram api ched deenam sharanaishinam agatam
vyasane yonugrihnati sa vai purushasattamah
अमित्रमपि चेद्दीनं शरणैषिणमागतम्।
व्यसने योऽनुगृह्णाति स वै पुरुषसत्तमः॥
Even if an enemy comes to you helpless and seeking shelter, the one who helps him in his trouble is the best of people.

असली बड़प्पन तब दिखता है जब चोट पहुँचाने वाला ज़रूरत में हो। उसकी मदद का मतलब सब भूल जाना नहीं, बल्कि यह कि हमारी दया केवल अच्छे लोगों के लिए इनाम नहीं।
