acharal labhate hy-ayur acharal labhate shriyam
acharat keertim apnoti purushah pretya cheha cha
आचाराल्लभते ह्यायुराचाराल्लभते श्रियम्।
आचारात्कीर्तिमाप्नोति पुरुषः प्रेत्य चेह च॥
Through good conduct one gains long life, through good conduct one gains prosperity, and through good conduct one wins a good name, both here and hereafter.
