Mahabharata 12.17.18 meaning

anantam bata me vittam yasya me nasti kinchana mithilayam pradeeptayam na me dahyati kinchana

Endless is my wealth, since nothing at all is mine. Even if the city of Mithila burns down, nothing of mine is burned.

What it means
These are King Janaka's famous words, which Yudhishthira recalls. A king can live in a palace and still not be owned by it. When your peace does not depend on possessions, losing them cannot burn you.

Spoken by Yudhishthira.
