Mahabharata 11.13.9 meaning
sa tatha yachyamana tvam kale kale jayaishina
uktavaty-asi gandhari yato dharmas tato jayah
Though your son begged you again and again for victory, Gandhari, each time you told him, 'Where there is dharma, there is victory.'
What it means
Even for her own son, Gandhari would not bless the wrong side. Vyasa reminds her of this to calm her anger. Loving someone does not mean blessing their wrongs.
Spoken by Vyasa.
