Mahabharata 12.169.27 meaning

tasmat satyavratacharah satyayogaparayanah satyaramah samo dantah satyenaivantakam jayet

So one who lives by the vow of truth, devoted to truth, delighting in truth, balanced and self-controlled, conquers even death through truth.

What it means
Truthfulness gives a life a kind of permanence. People built on honesty leave something that outlasts them, and they face their end without dread. Truth is the one thing death cannot take away.
