Do not wound others, do not speak cruelly, do not take from the lowly. Never use those harsh, hurtful words that make another person tremble.
What it means
Words can frighten and wound as much as actions. Before speaking, ask whether your words will make someone feel smaller or afraid. Choose words that leave people safe.
Spoken by Yayati.
