Mahabharata 1.1.188 meaning
kalah pachati bhootani kalah sanharati prajah
nirdahantam prajah kalam kalah shamayate punah
कालः पचति भूतानि कालः संहरति प्रजाः।
निर्दहन्तं प्रजाः कालं कालः शमयते पुनः॥
Time ripens all beings, and time carries them away. When time burns up creatures, it is time again that brings calm.
What it means
Everything we love and fear rises and falls with time. The same time that brings loss also heals it. Seeing this clearly helps us stop fighting what cannot be changed.हिंदी में अर्थ
काल ही सब प्राणियों को पकाता है और काल ही उन्हें समेट लेता है। जब काल प्राणियों को जलाता है, तब फिर काल ही शांति लाता है।
