Katha Upanishad 2.2.14 meaning

tad etad iti manyantenirdeshyam paramam sukham katham nu tad vijaneeyam kimu bhati vibhati va

The wise feel 'this is That', the highest joy that cannot be described. How can I come to know it? Does it shine by itself, or does it shine by another's light?

What it means
Some joys are too deep for words. Nachiketa's honest question shows that wanting to understand more is not doubt; it is the natural next step of a sincere seeker.

Spoken by Nachiketa.
