Katha Upanishad 2.2.12 meaning
eko vashee sarvabhoot-antaratma ekam roopam bahudha yah karoti
tam atmastham yenupashyanti dheeras tesham sukham shashvatam n-etaresham
एको वशी सर्वभूतान्तरात्मा एकं रूपं बहुधा यः करोति।
तमात्मस्थं येऽनुपश्यन्ति धीरास्तेषां सुखं शाश्वतं नेतरेषाम्॥
The One who rules all, the inner Self of every being, makes one form into many. The wise who see it dwelling within themselves have lasting happiness; others do not.
What it means
Lasting happiness does not come from outside things, which always change. It comes from finding the steady presence within. That joy cannot be taken away.हिंदी में अर्थ
वह एक, जो सबका नियंता और सब प्राणियों की अंतरात्मा है, एक रूप को अनेक बनाता है। जो धीर उसे अपने भीतर देखते हैं, उन्हें शाश्वत सुख मिलता है, दूसरों को नहीं।
टिकाऊ सुख बाहर की चीज़ों से नहीं आता, जो हमेशा बदलती हैं। वह भीतर की स्थिर उपस्थिति खोजने से आता है। वह आनंद कोई छीन नहीं सकता।
