Katha Upanishad 1.1.27 meaning

na vittena tarpaneeyo manushyo lapsyamahe vittam adrakshma chet tva jeevishyamo yavad eeshishyasi tvam varas tu me varaneeyah sa eva

No one is ever truly satisfied by wealth. Having met you, we will have wealth anyway, and we will live as long as you allow. The wish I want is that one alone.

What it means
Money never says 'enough'. Nachiketa sees that chasing more cannot fill the hunger inside. He stays fixed on the one thing that will actually satisfy him: real understanding.

Spoken by Nachiketa.
