Katha Upanishad 1.1.22 meaning
devair atr-api vichikitsitam kila tvam cha mrityo yan na sujneyam attha
vakta ch-asya tvadrig anyo na labhyo n-anyo varas tulya etasya kashchit
देवैरत्रापि विचिकित्सितं किल त्वं च मृत्यो यन्न सुज्ञेयमात्थ।
वक्ता चास्य त्वादृगन्यो न लभ्यो नान्यो वरस्तुल्य एतस्य कश्चित्॥
Even the gods doubted this, you say, and you yourself call it hard to know. But no teacher like you can be found, and no other wish compares with this one.

आप कहते हैं कि देवताओं को भी इसमें संशय था और यह कठिन है। पर आप जैसा बताने वाला और कोई नहीं मिलेगा, और इसके बराबर कोई दूसरा वर नहीं है।
कठिनाई रुकने का नहीं, डटे रहने का कारण है। जब सही गुरु और सही समय मिल जाएँ, तो नचिकेता जानता है कि यह अवसर गँवाना नहीं है।
