tam abraveet preeyamano mahatma varam tav-eh-adya dadami bhooyah
tav-aiva namna bhavit-ayam agnih srinkam ch-emam anekaroopam grihana
तमब्रवीत्प्रीयमाणो महात्मा वरं तवेहाद्य ददामि भूयः।
तवैव नाम्ना भवितायमग्निः सृङ्कां चेमामनेकरूपां गृहाण॥
Delighted, the great-hearted Death said: I give you an extra gift today. This fire will be known by your name. And take this many-coloured chain as well.
