sangah sarvatmana tyajyah sa chet tyaktum na shakyate
sa sadbhih saha kartavyah satam sango hi bheshajam
सङ्गः सर्वात्मना त्याज्यः स चेत्त्यक्तुं न शक्यते।
स सद्भिः सह कर्तव्यः सतां सङ्गो हि भेषजम्॥
Attachment should be given up completely. But if it cannot be given up, then let it be attachment to good people — for the company of the good is itself a medicine.
