vanepi doshah prabhavanti raginam grihepi panchendriyanigrahas tapah
akutsite karmani yah pravartate nivrittaragasya griham tapovanam
वनेऽपि दोषाः प्रभवन्ति रागिणां गृहेऽपि पञ्चेन्द्रियनिग्रहस्तपः।
अकुत्सिते कर्मणि यः प्रवर्तते निवृत्तरागस्य गृहं तपोवनम्॥
For those full of craving, faults arise even in the forest. At home, too, controlling the five senses is a form of spiritual practice. For one who does honest work and is free of attachment, home itself is a hermitage.

आसक्त लोगों में वन में भी दोष पैदा हो जाते हैं; घर में रहकर भी पाँचों इंद्रियों पर संयम तपस्या है। जो निर्दोष कर्म करता है और आसक्ति से मुक्त है, उसके लिए घर ही तपोवन है।
शांति के लिए दुनिया छोड़कर भागना ज़रूरी नहीं। बेचैनी हर जगह साथ जाती है; संयम और ईमानदार काम से साधारण घर भी शांति और विकास की जगह बन जाता है।
