na sthatavyam na gantavyam durjanena samam kvachit
kakasangad dhato hansas tishthan gachchansh cha vartakah
न स्थातव्यं न गन्तव्यं दुर्जनेन समं क्वचित्।
काकसङ्गाद्धतो हंसस्तिष्ठन्गच्छंश्च वर्तकः॥
Never stay with a wicked person, and never travel with one. Because of a crow's company, a swan was killed while staying put, and a quail was killed while travelling.
