nimittam uddishya hi yah prakupyati dhruvam sa tasy-apagame praseedati
akaranadveshi manas tu yasya vai katham janas tam paritoshayishyati
निमित्तमुद्दिश्य हि यः प्रकुप्यति ध्रुवं स तस्यापगमे प्रसीदति।
अकारणद्वेषि मनस्तु यस्य वै कथं जनस्तं परितोषयिष्यति॥
Someone who gets angry for a reason will surely calm down once that reason is gone. But how can anyone ever please a person whose heart hates without any cause?
What it means
Some anger can be resolved by fixing the problem. Causeless hostility cannot — it lives in the other person, not in you. Recognise the difference and stop exhausting yourself trying to win over such people.हिंदी में अर्थ
