manina bhooshitah sarpah kim asau na bhayankarah
दुर्जनः परिहर्तव्यो विद्ययालङ्कृतोऽपि सन्।
मणिना भूषितः सर्पः किमसौ न भयङ्करः॥
Avoid a wicked person even if they are adorned with learning. Is a snake any less dangerous because it wears a jewel on its head?
