Hitopadesha 1.7 meaning
na sanshayam anaruhya naro bhadrani pashyati
sanshayam punar aruhya yadi jeevati pashyati
न संशयमनारुह्य नरो भद्राणि पश्यति।
संशयं पुनरारुह्य यदि जीवति पश्यति॥
No one sees good fortune without first stepping into risk. And once you have taken the risk, if you come through it, you get to enjoy the reward.
