dhanam tavad asulabham labdham krichchrena palyate
labdhanasho yatha mrityus tasmad etan na chintayet
धनं तावदसुलभं लब्धं कृच्छ्रेण पाल्यते।
लब्धनाशो यथा मृत्युस्तस्मादेतन्न चिन्तयेत्॥
Money is hard to get, and once got, it is hard to protect. Losing it feels like death. So one should not brood over it.
