जनयन्त्यर्जने दुःखं तापयन्ति विपत्तिषु।
मोहयन्ति च सम्पत्तौ कथमर्थाः सुखावहाः॥
Money brings pain while earning it, torments us when it is lost, and clouds our judgement when we have plenty. How then can it bring happiness?
