Chandogya Upanishad 3.17.4 meaning
atha yat tapo danam arjavam ahinsa satyavachanam iti
ta asya dakshinah
अथ यत्तपो दानमार्जवमहिंसा सत्यवचनमिति
ता अस्य दक्षिणाः ॥
Self-discipline, generosity, honesty, non-violence and truthful speech — these are the true gifts offered in the sacrifice of life.
What it means
