vittam dehi gun-anviteshu matiman n-anyatra dehi kvachit praptam varinidher jalam ghanamukhe madhuryayuktam sada
jeevan sthavarajangamansh cha sakalan sanjeevya bhoomandalam bhooyah pashya tad eva kotigunitam gachchantam ambhonidhim
वित्तं देहि गुणान्वितेषु मतिमन्नान्यत्र देहि क्वचित् प्राप्तं वारिनिधेर्जलं घनमुखे माधुर्ययुक्तं सदा ।
जीवान्स्थावरजंगमांश्च सकलान्संजीव्य भूमण्डलं भूयः पश्य तदेव कोटिगुणितं गच्छन्तमम्भोनिधिम् ॥
Wise one, give your wealth to the worthy and nowhere else. See how sea water taken up by the clouds turns sweet, gives life to every being on earth, and returns to the ocean multiplied many million times.
What it means
Give thoughtfully. When resources reach the right hands, they nourish many and come back multiplied, in goodwill, impact and blessings. Generosity guided by wisdom is the best investment.हिंदी में अर्थ
हे बुद्धिमान, धन गुणवान को दो, और कहीं नहीं। देखो, समुद्र का पानी बादलों में जाकर मीठा बनता है, धरती के सारे जीवों को जीवन देता है और फिर करोड़ों गुना होकर समुद्र में लौटता है।
सोच-समझकर दो। जब साधन सही हाथों में पहुँचते हैं, तो बहुतों का भला करते हैं और कई गुना होकर लौटते हैं। समझदारी से किया दान सबसे अच्छा निवेश है।
