Chanakya Niti 6.9 meaning
svayam karma karoty-atma svayam tatphalam ashnute
svayam bhramati sansare svayam tasmad vimuchyate
स्वयं कर्म करोत्यात्मा स्वयं तत्फलमश्नुते ।
स्वयं भ्रमति संसारे स्वयं तस्माद्विमुच्यते ॥
The soul itself performs its actions, and it alone enjoys their results. On its own it wanders through the world, and on its own it becomes free.
What it means
You are the author of your life. Blaming others keeps you stuck; owning your actions sets you free. Both bondage and liberation begin with your own choices.हिंदी में अर्थ
आत्मा स्वयं कर्म करती है, स्वयं उसका फल भोगती है, स्वयं संसार में भटकती है और स्वयं ही उससे मुक्त होती है।
अपने जीवन के लेखक तुम ख़ुद हो। दूसरों को दोष देने से तुम अटके रहते हो; अपने कर्मों की ज़िम्मेदारी लेने से मुक्त होते हो।
