Chanakya Niti 6.12 meaning
lubdham arthena grihneeyat stabdham anjalikarmana
moorkham chandonuvrittya cha yatharthatvena panditam
लुब्धमर्थेन गृह्णीयात् स्तब्धमञ्जलिकर्मणा ।
मूर्खं छन्दोऽनुवृत्त्या च यथार्थत्वेन पण्डितम् ॥
Win over a greedy person with money, a stubborn one with folded hands, a fool by going along with their wishes, and a wise person with honesty.

Different people respond to different approaches. Learn what each person values. With thoughtful people, though, nothing works better than plain honesty; never try to trick someone wiser than you.हिंदी में अर्थ
लालची को धन से, अकड़ू को हाथ जोड़कर, मूर्ख को उसकी मर्ज़ी के अनुसार चलकर और विद्वान को सच्चाई से वश में करो।
अलग लोग अलग तरीक़े से मानते हैं। समझो कि किसे क्या प्रिय है। पर समझदार लोगों के साथ सच्चाई से बढ़कर कुछ काम नहीं करता।
