Chanakya Niti 4.6 meaning
ekopi gunavan putro nirgunena shatena kim
ekash chandras tamo hanti na cha tarah sahasrashah
एकोऽपि गुणवान्पुत्रो निर्गुणेन शतेन किम् ।
एकश्चन्द्रस्तमो हन्ति न च ताराः सहस्रशः ॥
One child with good qualities is better than a hundred without them. A single moon drives away the darkness, which thousands of stars cannot do.

एक गुणवान संतान सौ गुणहीन संतानों से अच्छी है। अकेला चाँद अँधेरा दूर कर देता है, हज़ारों तारे नहीं कर पाते।
संख्या से ज़्यादा गहराई मायने रखती है। एक सच्चा, सक्षम और नेक इंसान भीड़ से ज़्यादा बदलाव ला सकता है। भीड़ का हिस्सा नहीं, वह एक रोशनी बनो।
