Chanakya Niti 3.19 meaning
upasargenyachakre cha durbhikshe cha bhayavahe
asadhujana-samparke yah palayet sa jeevati
उपसर्गेऽन्यचक्रे च दुर्भिक्षे च भयावहे ।
असाधुजनसम्पर्के यः पलायेत्स जीवति ॥
In a calamity, in a foreign invasion, in a terrible famine, and in the company of wicked people, the one who gets away is the one who survives.
What it means
Not every fight needs to be fought. When a situation is truly dangerous or toxic, leaving is not cowardice but wisdom. Protect yourself first; you can rebuild later.हिंदी में अर्थ
आपदा में, शत्रु के हमले में, भयानक अकाल में और दुष्ट लोगों की संगत में, जो वहाँ से निकल जाता है, वही बचता है।
हर लड़ाई लड़ना ज़रूरी नहीं। जब हालात सच में ख़तरनाक या ज़हरीले हों, तो वहाँ से हटना कायरता नहीं, समझदारी है। पहले खुद को बचाओ, बाकी बाद में फिर बना लोगे।
