If a person achieves none of life's four aims — dharma, wealth, fulfilment of desires, or liberation — their life is as pointless as the dangling flaps on a goat's neck.
What it means
Life needs direction. Whether you pursue goodness, prosperity, healthy enjoyment or spiritual freedom, pursue something meaningful. Drifting without any purpose wastes the precious gift of being alive.
Spoken by Chanakya.
