Chanakya Niti 3.17 meaning
kim jatair bahubhih putraih shokasantapa-karakaih
varam ekah kulalambee yatra vishramyate kulam
किं जातैर्बहुभिः पुत्रैः शोकसन्तापकारकैः ।
वरमेकः कुलालम्बी यत्र विश्राम्यते कुलम् ॥
What use are many children who bring only grief and worry? Better is one who supports the family, in whom the whole family finds rest.
