Chanakya Niti 3.16 meaning
eken-api suputrena vidyayuktena sadhuna
ahladitam kulam sarvam yatha chandrena sharvaree
एकेनापि सुपुत्रेण विद्यायुक्तेन साधुना ।
आह्लादितं कुलं सर्वं यथा चन्द्रेण शर्वरी ॥
One good child who is learned and kind makes the whole family glad, just as the moon alone lights up the night.

जैसे अकेला चाँद पूरी रात को रोशन कर देता है, वैसे ही एक विद्वान और सज्जन संतान पूरे परिवार को आनंदित कर देती है।
ज्ञान और अच्छाई मिलकर दूसरों के लिए रोशनी बनते हैं। बहुत होने या शोर करने की ज़रूरत नहीं; एक समझदार और दयालु व्यक्ति सबका जीवन उजला कर देता है।
