Chanakya Niti 3.14 meaning
eken-api suvrikshena pushpitena sugandhina
vasitam tad vanam sarvam suputrena kulam yatha
एकेनापि सुवृक्षेण पुष्पितेन सुगन्धिना ।
वासितं तद्वनं सर्वं सुपुत्रेण कुलं यथा ॥
Just as a single tree in full, fragrant bloom fills the whole forest with its scent, one good child brings honour to the entire family.
