Chanakya Niti 2.4 meaning
te putra ye pitur bhaktah sa pita yas tu poshakah
tan mitram yatra vishvasah sa bharya yatra nirvritih
ते पुत्रा ये पितुर्भक्ताः स पिता यस्तु पोषकः ।
तन्मित्रं यत्र विश्वासः सा भार्या यत्र निर्वृतिः ॥
True children are those devoted to their father; a true father is one who nurtures; a true friend is one you can trust; and a true wife is one who brings peace.
What it means
Relationships are proven by what they give, not by titles. A parent nurtures, a child honours, a friend earns trust, a partner brings peace. Ask yourself whether you live up to your own role.हिंदी में अर्थ
सच्चे पुत्र वे हैं जो पिता के प्रति समर्पित हों, सच्चा पिता वह है जो पालन-पोषण करे, सच्चा मित्र वह जिस पर भरोसा हो, और सच्ची पत्नी वह जिसके साथ मन को शांति मिले।
रिश्ते नाम से नहीं, व्यवहार से सच्चे होते हैं। माता-पिता पालें, संतान सम्मान दे, मित्र भरोसा कमाए, जीवनसाथी सुकून दे। खुद से पूछो, क्या तुम अपना रिश्ता निभा रहे हो?
