Chanakya Niti 16.14 meaning
priyavakya-pradanena sarve tushyanti jantavah
tasmat tad eva vaktavyam vachane ka daridrata
प्रियवाक्यप्रदानेन सर्वे तुष्यन्ति जन्तवः।
तस्मात्तदेव वक्तव्यं वचने का दरिद्रता॥
Every living being is pleased by kind words. So speak kindly. Why be stingy with words?
What it means
Kind words cost nothing and can change someone's whole day. A thank-you, a compliment, a gentle tone: give them freely. Of all the things you can be generous with, words are the easiest.हिंदी में अर्थ
