A gem may roll at someone's feet while glass is worn on the head, but when it's time to buy and sell, glass is glass and a gem is a gem.

What it means
Hype and real value are different things. If you're overlooked right now, don't despair; true worth shows when it's tested. And when you judge others, look past the glitter to what's real.

Spoken by Chanakya.
