anantashastram bahulash cha vidya alpash cha kalo bahuvighnata cha
yat sarabhootam tad upasaneeyam hanso yatha ksheeram iv-ambumadhyat
अनन्तशास्त्रं बहुलाश्च विद्या अल्पश्च कालो बहुविघ्नता च।
यत्सारभूतं तदुपासनीयं हंसो यथा क्षीरमिवाम्बुमध्यात्॥
There are endless books and many fields of knowledge, but time is short and obstacles are many. So pick out the essence and focus on it, just as the swan draws milk out of water.
