matrivat paradareshu paradravyani loshtavat
atmavat sarvabhootani yah pashyati sa panditah
Whoever sees other men's wives as their own mother, other people's wealth as a lump of clay, and all living beings as their own self, is truly wise.
What it means
Wisdom is not about degrees; it is about how you look at others. Respect people's relationships, don't covet what belongs to someone else, and treat every living being as you would want to be treated.
