Chanakya Niti 11.2 meaning
atmavargam parityajya paravargam samashrayet
svayam eva layam yati yatha rajyam adharmatah
आत्मवर्गं परित्यज्य परवर्गं समाश्रयेत्।
स्वयमेव लयं याति यथा राज्यमधर्मतः॥
Whoever abandons their own people and goes to depend on outsiders destroys themselves, just as a kingdom collapses through unrighteous rule.

नए लोगों की तारीफ़ के पीछे भागकर उन्हें भूल जाना जो हमेशा साथ थे, धीरे-धीरे खुद को नुकसान पहुँचाना है। आगे बढ़ो, पर अपनी जड़ें मत काटो।
