Chanakya Niti 11.1 meaning
datritvam priyavaktritvam dheeratvam uchitajnata
abhyasena na labhyante chatvarah sahaja gunah
दातृत्वं प्रियवक्तृत्वं धीरत्वमुचितज्ञता।
अभ्यासेन न लभ्यन्ते चत्वारः सहजा गुणाः॥
Generosity, sweet speech, steadiness and knowing what is right for the moment: these four qualities are inborn and are not easily gained by practice alone.
What it means
Some qualities run deep in a person's nature. When you meet someone who is naturally generous, kind-spoken and calm, value them. And nurture these traits in children early, while their nature is still forming.हिंदी में अर्थ
उदारता, मीठा बोलना, धीरज और मौके के अनुसार सही बात समझना: ये चार गुण स्वभाव से आते हैं, सिर्फ़ अभ्यास से आसानी से नहीं मिलते।
कुछ गुण इंसान के स्वभाव में गहरे होते हैं। जो स्वाभाविक रूप से उदार, मीठा बोलने वाला और शांत हो, उसकी कद्र करो। बच्चों में ये गुण बचपन से ही सींचो।
