Chanakya Niti 10.5 meaning
rankam karoti rajanam rajanam rankam eva cha
dhaninam nirdhanam cha-iva nirdhanam dhaninam vidhih
रङ्कं करोति राजानं राजानं रङ्कमेव च।
धनिनं निर्धनं चैव निर्धनं धनिनं विधिः॥
Fate turns a beggar into a king and a king into a beggar. It makes the rich poor and the poor rich.
