Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 4.4.21 meaning
tam eva dheero vijnaya prajnam kurveeta brahmanah
n-anudhyayad bahoon chabdan vacho viglapanam hi tat
तमेव धीरो विज्ञाय प्रज्ञां कुर्वीत ब्राह्मणः ।
नानुध्यायाद्बहूञ्छब्दान्वाचो विग्लापनं हि तत् ॥
Knowing that Self alone, a wise seeker should make it his understanding. He should not brood over many words, for that only wears out speech.
