Srimad Bhagavatam 6.2.4 meaning
yad yad acharati shreyan itaras tat tad eehate
sa yat pramanam kurute lokas tad anuvartate
यद्यदाचरति श्रेयानितरस्तत्तदीहते।
स यत्प्रमाणं कुरुते लोकस्तदनुवर्तते॥
Whatever a great or respected person does, other people copy. Whatever standard such a person sets, the whole world follows.
