vimuchya tam imam bandham avidyakamakarmajam
sarvabhootasuhrich chanto maitrah karuna atmavan
विमुच्य तमिमं बन्धमविद्याकामकर्मजम्।
सर्वभूतसुहृच्छान्तो मैत्रः करुण आत्मवान्॥
I will free myself from this bondage born of ignorance, desire and action, and become a friend to all beings, peaceful, friendly, compassionate and self-controlled.
