Srimad Bhagavatam 6.2.38 meaning

mamaham iti dehadau hitvamithyarthadheer matim dhasye mano bhagavati shuddham tatkeertanadibhih

Giving up the false idea of 'I' and 'mine' in this body and its belongings, I will fix my purified mind on the Lord through chanting his glories and similar practices.

What it means
Letting go of 'me and mine' does not mean losing everything; it means holding things lightly. A lighter grip frees the mind to rest in something steadier.

Spoken by Ajamila.
